The week before last was a clear reflection of how PrimeStart Capital operates day to day: close to founders, embedded with operators, and focused on building long-term, defensible businesses across health, wellbeing, and essential services.

Hospitality at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

We were delighted to attend the Tottenham Hotspur vs Borussia Dortmund fixture at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, kindly hosted by James and Guy, including a behind-the-scenes tour of the stadium and its hospitality facilities.
‍

Beyond the match itself, the experience highlighted the stadium as a world-class venue for bringing together founders, operators, and partners in a setting designed for conversation, connection, and long-term relationship building.

Inside Gene Fuel — From Trial to Market

Gene Fuel is a PrimeStart Capital portfolio company, operating at the intersection of healthcare, longevity, and preventative medicine.
‍

The week before last, Suleman Sacranie and Dr Zahra Jivraj spent time at Gene Fuel’s laboratory facilities reviewing the scientific, clinical, and operational foundations as the company enters its trial phase.
‍

The current trials are focused on validating Gene Fuel’s end-to-end model from blood biomarkers and DNA analysis through to personalised formulation, clinical oversight, and delivery. This includes testing production workflows, molecule validation, quality controls, and the operational discipline required to deliver personalised longevity solutions at scale.
‍

With Phase 2 trials starting shortly, the business is now progressing towards a planned go-to-market launch in June.
‍

Gene Fuel is building within a rapidly expanding global longevity and preventative healthcare market, driven by ageing populations, rising chronic disease, and increasing demand for proactive, data-led health solutions rather than reactive care.
